DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May. 15, 2012-- Sara Lee Corp. (NYSE: SLE) today announced that it has closed a private placement of $650 million of senior notes. The offering consisted of $232,000,000 of 3.60% senior notes due May 15, 2019, $120,000,000 of 3.81% senior notes due May 15, 2020, $124,000,000 of 4.03% senior notes due May 15, 2021, and $174,000,000 of 4.20% senior notes due May 15, 2022 (collectively, the “Notes”).
